    1. Wiki

Recently the problems with the wiki were solved thanks for an enterprising user on vb.org. Thanks to his help you'll notice the wiki link is nicely integrated into the style of the rest of the site instead of having its own theme. Also, you can click over to the wiki and simply make any edits or changes you want with the same login as you've got on the forums.

Integrating it into the rest of the site did change the looks of the wiki and bit and left the old style in need of some updating. So, I'd like your input on it. Just hit the rate article button and please vote. 5 stars if you like it, 1 if you don't. Depending on the response we'll keep it or not. Its up to you!

One more thing, if you are logged in and you hit 'My Profile' in the top right of the screen and then hit 'About Me' and scroll down a little you'll see a nice listing of how many edits to the wiki and how many new articles you've started since 3\1\2010. So, this is a nice way to even the playing field and help us all make some progress on the wiki. I'm looking for a way to bring back the experience system and include credit for wiki articles and edits. That would be most excellent.

So, vote up this article and let me know what you think of the new style. If you'd like to, you can make a comment on this too, I'll be reviewing them closely as will the rest of the staff.

    Thanks!

At the end of 2009 I moved OCW to a whole new publishing system and the intial results were quite positive. The site took on a whole new set of features and a nice new appearance. In the process a couple of things were broken however and I'm happy report that the fixes for most of these issues should be in place now. You'll notice that wiki content is showing up in a lot more places than it was before. Even, in the search section on the wiki. So, make good use of that.

Also, the login integration between the wiki and forums is in place again and seems to be working quite nicely. You'll see edits you make on the wiki showing up in the forums too so its a nice way to see how active we all are on the wiki.

I welcome your comments as you play with the new features. Please, post here what you like, don't like or want to see changed.

    Thanks!

the company intends to continue its current trend of using “Core i7” as its high-end product identifier, and we suspect this will not change over the course of the next year, at least not until the 22nm Sandy Bridge microarchitecture arrives.

Without further ado, the official name of Intel’s flagship 32nm desktop chip is Core i7 Extreme 980X. News of the confirmation comes from Chinese-based site PCOnline.com.cn which claims to have an official revised Intel roadmap in its hands.

    ...

the site states that the new flagship desktop chip will run at 3.33GHz, which basically makes it a Core i7 Extreme 975 with all the quirks of the 32nm Westmere family architecture and two additional cores.

    ...

As an Extreme Edition chip, the Core i7 Extreme 980X 3.33GHz will likely be priced at $999.

    ...

several sites have stated that the flagship desktop processor will be launching in March 2010, otherwise known as late Q1 2010
