Question: How long does it take for units to be posted. I have been working on the computers doing upgrades and stuff. Have two of the three back up but my stats say I have not finished any units and I am inactive. I know I have had to finish at least one unit this week.

    Ok guys,

    tricky question:

I was runnign 2 GTX 260 with no issue at all.
Just remove 1 GTX 260 delete the C:\FAHGPU\gpu2 and the C:\FAHGPU\prog2 folders of course.

Stick in 1 9800GT, reinstalled drivers, extended the desktop (as the last time) and cool, ready to start folding!

Created again those deleted folders from the ZIP file that Awesomeness Mike posted and this is the error I get:

    any ideas? :crying:

You didn't need to delet the folders all you needed to do was change the VGA card, the drivers and the gpu clients will take care of the rest on their own.

    Exactly Trucker,
Did that first (as I read complete the FAQ and Guide) but even after that it is not working =(

I will delete the whole thing and start all over again ....

Quick Question: Can I just create a third folder C:\FAHGPU\gpu3 and the C:\FAHGPU\prog3 and of couse configure the whole thing, and get the 3rd GPU on the Rig to fold?

I have changed vga cards and don't have to change the files as you did ( Just remove 1 GTX 260 delete the C:\FAHGPU\gpu2 and the C:\FAHGPU\prog2 folders of course.
). All I normaly do is just change the vga ccard load the drivers from device manager, extend the desktop then start the clients and it works. Did you forget to add the switch in shortcut properties ( .exe - gpu 1 )

Nope, I did not change any of those... Las week It was running GOOD in my system:

    °°° Abrilator's BFG GTX 260 C:\FAHGPU\prog1\Folding@home.exe -gpu 0
    °°° Eriku's eVGA GTX 260 C:\FAHGPU\prog1\Folding@home.exe -gpu 1

So I Just plugged it in the GT's today and did not work... (.exe GPU -1)
and did everything I mention before

    still thinkin here...

Look again at at -gpu0 and -gpu1. Any little thing that is not perfect will stop you. Do you have 2 monitors?

I have 1 Monitor (1 plug DVI and 1 plug VGA)

still, when I had the 2 GTX 260 I had no issue at all ...
    once I pull out 1 and pluged 1 9800GT's starrted this ---

So I thnk I figured it out:

I kicked out (Oh my God! I did really that?) the GTX 260
and sticked the 2 GT's -- and exactly like Trucker said "there is nothing to do, just swap cards" and my Folding Pwer came back to life... started again. I did not modified anything.

I think that once I have the GTX 260 GT200 as a primary card (folding and working), the 9800GT with the G2 as a secondary card does not like to be with her Big Sister folding.

So, any ideas? I will try to installed

9800GT as primary w/VIEW SONIC DVI
9800GT as secondary w/VIEW SONIC VGA
GTX 260 as a third card w/CRT Monitor

What do you think boyz? guess it will work?

Thank you Ben and John ---
