Let's try to build an ongoing list of "most wanted" articles in this thread. I'll start:

-How to install a CPU
- "" "" "" RAM
- CPU heatsink
- Expansion Card (video card, TV tuner....)
- Hard drive
- Power Supply
- Operating System (Windows, Linux, etc)--also "How to do a clean install of windows for when you current install gets b0rk3d
How to repair install XP and Vista...
USB Bootable drive (windows and linux)
Slipstream Vista\XP with drivers etc..
There's a mountain of articles that are needed. It would almost come down to priority of which ones first..
How to install is a good idea... first, how to overclock needs some reworking, I know... Man, there's so much work to do.
Good news is I'll have some serious upgrades and integration for the website soon. I'm working with Joomla as a content management system right now and it looks like it can integrate the Wiki, forums, blogs and news feeds all in one place rather well... Its still a work in progress so don't hold me to any of that, it may not happen without extensive reworking...
I'd like to suggest that everybody try to write a quick "How to overclock (insert hardware here)" guide. So, if you have a Geforce 7900GT, for example, write a really quick and dirty guide on how to overclock it. Also, these articles can easily build on top of each other. So, if somebody writes a "How to overclock Intel E6300" guide, you can very easily adapt that article to a guide about E6600, for example.
I'll start: http://www.overclockingwiki.org/inde...RADEON_X1900GT
I could see this in the case of a particular motherboard, for example, how to OC an Asus A8N-SLI deluxe, Abit IC7-MAX3, etc...
Video card overclocking is fairly automated if you use ATITool, which by my way of thinking should cover 80% of the video card overclocks out there. The exceptions would be unsupported cards, extreme cooling methods, volt mods, flashes and things like that. (by the way, those should have their own general guides, perhaps even specific someday for popular cards)
If you don't like ATITool for some reason (which I'm sure there are many) then another method of choice could use a write up, say, how to use Ntune to overclock a video card, or ATI Tray Tools or whatever else the flavor of the month is.
Good idea, Jebo, I just think it should be directed at motherboards instead of video cards.
I see your point, but I would imagine there are a lot of Google searches for terms similar to "7800GT overclock". These people want tips, tricks, and perhaps a collection of overclocking results to judge their success, and a couple quick benchmark comparisons (i.e. 3dmark results overclocked vs stock).
Yeah... there may be room for more video card overclocking content... And, with enough contributors your suggestion would be a natural move for the site. No doubt about that.
I wonder if there's an easier way to accomplish your goal without having to right a huge number of articles. (there's so many variants of every video card, core, memory, revision, etc...)
True. But I do think once a "template" article is written, the future articles can easily be done. For example, if I write an article about my video card, and include a lot of boiler plate info about ATITool, screenshots, and etc, all the next article needs is some updated info about specs and overclocking results. Maybe 30 minutes of work to complete one of those articles.
