    Adapted and improved from:
    http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?p=5678250

1st Check if your GPU is here, nVidia Cuda Enabled GPU Products:
    http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn_products.html

PART 1 (IMPORTANT) - Uninstall Current Driver:
Go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, then uninstall the Nvidia drivers.

PART 2 - Install GPU drivers
dl and install the latest nvidia driver http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

PART 3 - Install GPU client
    1. Download and install the client http://www.stanford.edu/group/pandeg...ystray-623.msi
(it puts a shortcut in start menu-startup folder---you may move it to the desktop if you want to run it manually.

    2. right click the systray icon-configure and fillin team 77826 and your username. also on advanced tab check off "slightly higher priority and do not lock cores".

Part 4 - Monitoring your progress/ppd (points per day)
    1. Download and install Fahmon:
    http://fahmon.net/

    2. Install fahmon and update project list. then right click white area to add client to monitor.
**(Vista) To point it to the GPU folder, SEARCH for APPDATA. In AppData locate the folder that says ROAMING. In Roaming find Folding@home-gpu folder. Right click on folder and copy location into the Fahmon.
**(XP) Point Fahmon to C:\Documents and Settings\{user name here}\Application Data\Folding@home-gpu

    PART 5 - Overclocking
    1. DL and install Precision Tool http://www.scootplace.net/fah/precisiontool.exe

    2. shader is the only thing that matters when overclocking for fah. core and ram have no effect on ppd. post and ask for help, chances are someone here has already overclocked your model card and can tell you a good shader to run.

    Mike-
Do you want to make a couple modifications, or I could do it if you wish. Those instructions are for Vista 32bit only. Vista 64 bit and XP 32 bit don't need the modded inf with the 177.35 drivers. I'm not sure about other OSs.

yeah, edit away.. I have no experience with the nvidia client... it's just a copy/paste to help NickPC get his client going, since no one has done a tut yet..

customize it or do whatever it takes to make it an ocw guide for ev1 here..

edt: I just saw you had another way of making it work from the other thread.. you should put that in too.

better yet, Jebo... if you're up to the task, do a new one with your control panel method and we'll wipe this one out since it's a copy/paste from another forum.
