Default O/S for my new HTPC?

    All,

What edition of Vista should I be using for my HTPC. I have installed Ultimate but I noticed on another thread here that people were recommending Home Premium. Any recommendations before I finish installing everything? Thanks!

If all your doing is HTPC it really doesn't matter which one you use, there is no feature difference from a HTPC point of view. I'm running Home Premium on mine and it works just fine.

Don't forget to look for my post here about the TV Power Pack that Microsoft released.

the ultimate edition's only really big feature over premium is that it can support up to 128gb of physical memory. wow, when are we going to need that. anyways i would go with premium unless money is no problem, then you should go with the one with no compromises.

you already have ultimate, no reason to downgrade to home premium. I'm running HP..
