From reading this thread I think the only thing to try is lower my vCore, raise mem volts, and tune the QPI. If that fails on 20X, I guess I'll try 19x w/ turbo and see where that gets me.
Nice G-skill i like them, On my board by default the memory only gets 1.50 volts so i changed mine to 1.65 like its supposed to have, just like i raised te v-core and QPI voltage so that i could run the bus speed up higher. Since really you can only go down in multi on the cpu.

What you may want to do is start a new thread so we can focus on yours and the other intel fans will be along later today. I rather new to the intel thing, i used to be the AMD king here, Well next to one other guy.

I'm guessing they're gone. But I'm not the one to ask. I'll point this out to Dekard.

I just updated to F11 ...... I wish I didnt. Am I missing something or has the settings changed even more from F7?
Can someone please assist with 3.4-3.6Ghz configuration for F11.
    From 'Optimized Settings' for 12GB 7-7-7-24 Gskill 1600 | i7 920 | Aircooled ---- where do I begin.
    Your help is much appreciated.

Default Safe bet for Aircooled 920 with F11 Bios

I am trying to find a reliable config for 3.5-3.8Ghz. Machine is aircooled. Ram is Geil 1600 12GB. CPU I7 920.
These are my F11 settings I have currently which boots.

Any thoughts or tweaks? I notice if I up DRAM Voltage to 1.64 it posts but crashes on booting W7. Much appreciated for some help here - am I safe or screwed with these settings??????
Also I set BCLK Frequency @ 180 it posts but crashes on boot of Win7. And what is this "Performance Enhance" Setting Standard/Turbo/Extreme??

try setting your uncore to double your ram...that tends to be the sweet spot...

also, I believe I left Performance Enhance on Standard while overclocking. I bet that solves your issues.
