thanx stoudtlr,
ok down to business
1st try at ocíng 1st boot, @4.2ghz , super pi 1mb 9.953s
1.35v, f3 bios
qpi/vtt 1.28v
dram 1.64v
edit... actually i lie , i should be at 3.8ghz 200 x 19, but core temp /cpuz/ real temps all say somthing different , lol il get there , just running prime now see what happens , might be able to drop vcore down a bit too, aeither way not a bad start i supose
ok i think i worked it out because i got it on 19 x when turbo kicks in it goes to 21 x so that = 4.2ghz, now that i got prime running its come back to 19 x 200 = 3.8ghz
edit.... ok i stopped prime and dropped it down to 1.3v and she crashed i slowly lifted vcore up and she kept crashing till i got back to 1.35v,
i get so scared when it does boot , lol, #%*@ my self, anyway looks like my first gess of 1.35v for 200 x 19 was about right , might try dropping vcore and raising qpi/vtt voltage see if that helps, im still trying to get my hands on f4k bios, ive read few guys were on same voltage as me then they went to f4k bios and had it running at 1.2v vcore in windows @ 4ghz, but i cant find it
I'm so jealous
2nd revs of the cpu's and mobos will be better
prime @ 4011mhz turbo on , i'll be happy with 4ghz if i can get it stable, been 40 mins so far and primes still going
bios f4k
1.375v in bios 1.328v under load
think im starting to get the hang of it, not as easy as i thought , its easy getting it to post at what ever speed ya want, i had it at 1.2v under load @ 3.8ghz with turbo off, and run super pi but getting it stable is another thing,
Good stuff Nick! I can't wait for my stuff! Where the heck is that Bloodrage mobo! :crying:

i dont know Erik might have to ask saaya whats going on, but he will just prolly say yea soon :scared:
been running prime for over 5 hours now @ 4ghz 4 cores, 8 threads with turbo on, i think shes stablethink im gonna let it go for another 5 to 10 hours,:scared: cummon betsy you can do it
edit... i lied again , over 6 hours now still going !!!!!
what's the max temp recommended for the i7's? I noticed you maxed at 75C on one of the cores.

i7 is different now its measured by tj max, if the cpu hits 100 it will start throtling/slowing the multi and vid back , so anything under that is ok, hard to say really even intel hasnt released max temps as such, just max voltages, im thinking anything under 90 is ok, only time will tell but the guys over at XS are pushing it so we soon see i supose, might have to email intel see what they say
