    hey guys... I am working on making an in house (my room)
    dedicated cod4 server... just got server 2k8 installed on my ml330g3 dual 3ghz xeon (with ht) server... old but it should handle the job...

    it will mainly be a test server...

    I need to figure out how to make it available through my dlink router to the internet...and if possible show up on cod4 ingame browser...

    I just stuck cod4 on it...so thats taken care of... just got to do ip for dedicated and stuff...
    I'm level error 404

    dyndns.org will allow you to set up external URL routing to your server

    http://portforward.com/ will help you open up your router to allow game traffic through

    most routers will have a menu built in for running game servers. It is very easy to setup and should be all you need.
