Help with linking files via Word 07

I've been asked how to insert a link(similar to hyperlinking I assume?) in a Word Document that will call up another doc or form on the same computer? I, of course know how to connect a word to a hyperlink. But his request is unknown to me? Can it be done? If so, how?
Anyone?

Can also use the hyperlink tab and select the file to link to.
