thanks j-bo so far i do like it got the folding clients installed and running not sure if it s me but i got all the mane programs installed then did a defrag and w7 said that it did its thing and no fragments switched to xp (dual boot) checked and xp defrag said it was 74% fragmented i think that a app should do it job if it says it did it if i would have left it a lone and not checked then my drive would have been all messy so to get combat MS'S shrot comings i downloaded and installed auslogics defrag program i should have done that a long time ago as it was fast and i like the optimize option anyhoo on to playing with the settings
