    Default T.v or monitor

    I've had my monitor for 4+ years.It is a Gateway FPD2185 S-PVA monitor.
I'm lookin for opinions on whether to buy a Hd 1080P television or buy a monitor.
I don't watch a lot of t.v but i watch movies.I'm more of a computer gamer and have yet to invest in a console if i will at all.My television at this time is an old Rca 32" the old style that weighs about 80lbs.
Money is definately an issue.I live in Canada so the prices for such things are a little higher.
Lookin to buy sometime in June or July of 2010.Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.Peace.

Well either option is a good idea or you can look into like Samsung makes a 26.5 monitor with a tuner built in for watching t.v.

If you decide to go with a tv then you will really want to make sure you get a very fast screen. Most of the tv's advertised as 120hz or higher would be a good choice.
