Welcome and guidelines for OCW!
We're not going to get into a huge list of do's and don't. Here's just a couple of basic guidelines and we're hoping you can fill in all the blanks yourself. :wink:
1, PG only content. That's not PG13 content, or European PG content... This one there is no latitude on. Don't post anything you wouldn't want your mom to read. Or my mom...
2, No Cussing, again, this one is none negotiable.
3, Be Nice! No flaming, thread crapping, trolling or the like. Mod's are authorized to delete posts and \ or threads as needed.
4, No ad blocking, check my other posts for the reasons why.
5, No Discussing Illegal Software, Cracks or any other illegal activity.
6, RTM, (or RTW) is not a suitable response to a sincere noob's question. A gentle reminder to search the wiki first and a HELPFUL LINK are all thats needed. If the noob doesn't get it the first time, try again, NICELY. :!:
Warning Policy
Depending entirely on the severity of what the offense is the range of punishment will be a pm'd warning to outright bans. The Mod's will make the call and if you think the mod's are wrong you can take it up with me personally. I will look into it as soon as I can. I will say this, no one will be banned without me knowing and approving of it.
If you start talking disrepectfully to the mod's or to me don't expect any sympathy. Or, as rule 3 states, BE NICE! Having said that, I really hope this will help keep everyone on good behavior and produce an atmosphere of learning and teaching... And in case you forgot my favorite rule, I'll repeat it here. BE NICE!!
