After nothing much of an answer from that company, i've decided to basically say F' it and buy a new PSU and restart the build with the same goal...Getting Linux to run it and successfully run with 4 GPUs and 4 Cores at once. Here's the new PSU:
    Antec EarthWatts 650W
It has enough power and then some. $80 bucks for the good of the project, this is too interesting to not do.

Probably you, because i'm about as Linux-tarded as it comes. Hopefully, by now, the Linux route of doing things has been at least cleared up more. Since I have a better psu i'm definitely going to try some overclocking on this round.

I will wait till you have the parts in... my current project is my eyefinity setup... that will happen tomorrow and Thursday...

I may be good with linux... but that doesn't keep me from hitting driver deadends....

Even with the break from it, this time around that learning curve won't be nearly as steep. Linux is fairly easy, it's just the balancing act of nvidia drivers that keep things from running smoothly

lol... last time I checked using bad drivers should not make you have to reinstall to get rid of them lol... I say 8.04 and the 1.77 drivers is the tested and true winner... that said I am gonna give the latest a spin first.

Well, got Linux setup again, this time 8.04. Got all the way to the end, until I hit a landmine. Please tell me what this means

[06:40:54] This is a sign of more serious problems, shutting down.

Now i noticed that the cuda wrapper originally from twomurs.com is down, and this is a different one. Except, it doesn't work.

This is the guide i'm using, the Cuda wrapper part is step 5 under "Installing Wine". I think thats the issue, but can't confirm it.

Oh, and 8.04 doesn't like my wireless card, i've installed ndiswrapper, but i can't extract the drivers from the exe i have. My wireless card is based off the ralink 2770.
