    Default Mobo picking....

    Alright...

I have limited it down to a few motherboards...

the Gigabyte wont work... because I would rather not dremel out my front 3.5 bays if I can have a mobo that sticks the 5970 in the 5.25 bays.... (needs to have one of the peg slots as first expansion...)

this one is extremely pricey... but I would get to use my Sas drives
73gb 15k sas drives... that would make a nice boot volume...

if I go for the less expensive ones... I have either the MSI or the Asus... either would work with my case.... but... I really want 4ghz for my i7... and I don't know if the msi can do it...

    ey Pat,

good luck with the ASUS an SAS drives, mine never got to work... (ASUS P6T & SAS DRIVE)
The MSI is quite cheap, is that a good MoBo? -- I would go instead for the baby Gibabyte $200 featuring the USB 2X 3.0 and 2X SATA 6.Gbps and 3 PCIEx

    my 2 cents
