Default Cheapest 4850 Replacement Cooling Solution?

    Hey fellas.

The fan on my ASUS HD 4850 died a few days ago. Major bummer as I was anticipating the release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 today. I basically need the card to run for about one more month, then I want to buy a new one (DX11 Compatible). I'm planning on selling this card to my brother in law...so he won't mind it being modified. I won't sell it if i can't get an aftermarket cooler installed. If anyone has any suggestions, lemme have it.

The temps were upwards of 100C under a load, causing my games to crash. Deductive reasoning (and patriot via xfire) led me to open the case and check the card...the (stock) fan wasn't spinning at all. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

I do know some have used others such as zalman... but I don't know to what success...

The zalmans are fine. This would be the cheapest option I would consider: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118222 $18

If you have a few extra bucks and a spare fan lying around, Patriot's recommendation would work better.

go with a 5750 or 5770. I could sell you a 9800GT that doesnt need a power adapter, that would be a little less than the 4850, but atleast current.
