Haven't heard of that particular model. Have you considered anything from Arctic Cooling or Zalman?

thats a passive cooler and is not going to help you. Those are pretty much no good for serious overclocking. I'd be looking at a Zalman vf900.

I found out one of the contributing factors to the high temps i was running. the fan speed for the vga cooler was set at 65% and didn't compensate at all when temperatures rose, even though it was set to auto. By keeping it at 100%, the highest temp i got was 65 degrees celsius.

I don't seem to have a local supplier for arctic cooling products. Dekard is right in saying that the cooler i was considering is a passive one. I read some review though that said with a fan attached to the cooler it was a good performer. Looked at the VNF900 and i liked what i saw. I myt be placing an order soon

Thermalright makes a really really good passive one that I have seen modded to be accompanied by an 80mm fan and people are getting insane temps from it...expected as it's rather large though.

What is the name of the cooler? Is it something like the cooler master gemin II cpu cooler. That thing is freakin huge!!! Covers half the motherboard

Thermalright is really kicking out some top notch products lately. They currently have the distinction of making the best cooler for both GPUs and CPUs (ultra 120 extreme for CPUs)

Really...I had no idea. Its like every review site I go to has their own rendition of who is the best out there. Always being swayed one way or the other. I already placed an order for an ASUS silent knight for my cpu and a zalman vnf900 for my card...hopefully those should help quite a bit with my oc

The zalman vf900 is a very good option. I'm not really familiar with the ASUS cooler, but I've heard good things about it.
