Note, some of these hardware sites are running a little slow right now due to these reviews. If you can't acess them right away I'd suggest checking back in a few minutes. Heck, if your bored your can pop into our forums and discuss the Phenom there. :)

Yea...this thing is a little bit crazy...an electric drag motorcycle
that has the potential to outrun any top fuel drag bike in the world .
It runs the quarter mile right now in 8.168 seconds at 155mph. The 0-60
mph time is 1.04 seconds . Apparently it's really hard to hold on... .
We put in another 110 of the most powerful Li-Ion cells in the world to make a total of 990 A123Systems
M1 cells in the bike. This pushed the power output to over 350 HP. We
are now able to draw 1575 amps from the 375 volt, 7.5 kW-hr battery
pack...
We could make 7 or 8 runs without recharging if
we wanted...This includes the burn-out and the more than 2 mile round
trip back to the pits!

So you know those situations that are predicted to only occur in a
1/1,000,000 chance? The situation that requires multiple cascading
system failures, in the exact right order, at the exact right time? You
know the scenario that "should never happen"?
Well, it did...

And now they say 'No Recall Needed ' Or, as I like to put it, 'pay no attention to the man behind the curtain'.
At an AMD organized event to promote its ATI Radeon HD 2000-series
graphics products in Taiwan, the GPU maker reiterated that the recently
discovered issue which has lead to defective Radeon 2600 and 2400
graphics cards shipping to channels was under control, and that a
recall request was not needed.

More bad news for AMD \ ATI.
AMD's official graphics card diagnostic and validation software was
recently discovered to have a bug that failed to detect defective ATI
Radeon HD 2400 and 2600 graphics cards, according to sources at
graphics card makers. Although the problem can be easily solved by reapplying the BIOS,
because AMD's software did not detect the defect before shipping, the
cards will now need to be returned to the makers to be restored. One
first-tier maker has recalled over 20,000-30,000 units already, noted
the sources.

One of the best things about Comic-Con 2007 last week was the public unveiling of Unreal Tournament 3's beta for the PC.
