The other day, I found something interesting E-mail
Blogs - Hot New Products
With the winter holidays fast approaching, I thought that this would be something appropriate to post for all you technically savvy people, with no so technically savvy family members. Wishlistr.com is an online, wish list creator service. You make an account, and when you login, you can add the title of the item, a link to where you can get the item, and a breif description of the item that can be any length so you can include things like price, and what it is or why you want it. Then, once you have made the wish list, you can send the url www.wishlistr.com followed by your username to all your relatives and friends so there is no more confusion among the not so tech savvy as to what you want them to get you, and your not stuck with just cash for the holidays.

Happy Anniversary OCW! E-mail
News - Site News

I managed to sneak by the first one without anyone making a big fuss, but I guess thats over now. Here's to a Happy Anniversary OCW! Actually, its a bit late as the real anniversary was in October, but I trust you'll let it slide. Haven't you been late with an anniversary card before?

I'd like to take a minute to recognize all the users of the site, especially those who contribute to the Wiki and Forums. This place would not be around without you. You've taken an idea from my head and turned it into a proper overclocking site thats been able to consistently help people all year. Thank you!

Also deserving of special mention are the one who are folding for a cure. These guys are using their computer's time and their electric bill to support the largest distributed computing project around, Folding at Home. This scientific simulation works to better understand why protiens inside the human body 'fold' they way they do, sometimes causing cancer. I know this is a cause thats dear to many of your hearts and its pretty exciting to say that OCW has broken into the top 1,000 ranking and we're moving up quickly. If you'd like to Join the Overclocking WIKI Folding at Home teamwe've got quite a few people who'd love to give you hand getting started.

Thanks again and here's to many happy returns for you and OCW.

Asus to introduce HDMI equipped mobo E-mail
News - News from the Internet

Asus is set to introduce a nmew g35 motherboard with onboard HDMI to provide users another way to showcase their HD media.

The P5E-V HDMI and P5E-VM HDMI motherboards will handle multidisplay setups, with the VM edition allowing 4 displays. Sources were not clear if the quad display mode would require an add on card but Asus was indicating it would not. Regardless, both mobo's will feature the ability to deliver multichannel audio and uncompressed HD video signals over a single cable to HDMI equipped displays. A bundled HDMI to DVI adapter will allow connections to older HD tv's.

Precision tweaker 2, a ultra sensitive voltage adjustment allows precise control of many motherboard voltage in 0.02v steps.

How not to look like an idiot E-mail
Blogs - Customer Service related blogs

Have you ever wondered how to always look like a intelligent netizen? How to catch all the internet scam emails and not ever forward a story about XXXXXXXXX giving away XXXXXXXXXXX to anyone who forwards an email to XX people?

Wonder no more, this savvy netizen is giving away the secret. And the best part is you DON'T have to forward this email to anyone to get the info. Its a secret little website called Snopes .  All you've got to do is use their great site and you can quickly find out that Neiman Marcus isn't giving away their chocolate chip cookie recipe, there is NO danger if killing yourself with a microwave\cellphone\gas pump and no one is giving away their fortune to strangers on the intarweb.

For my sanity and the sanity of all your friends and family, please go to snopes before you forward another email.

drift video - 99 red ballons E-mail
Blogs - Commendation given where earned.
There's something strange about Nena's song... I'm not really sure what about it I liked so much, perhaps the catchy beat or the great lead vocals, but the stinking song is stuck in my head.

We just watched a great 80's movie with it in there and I had to show my wife the video that first introduced me to the song (about a decade late). Its a great drift video featuring a bunch Japanese cars doing impossible things. Anyway, here's the video. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
