Potential for 4 GPUs in one system

The much anticipated driver to enable dual 3870 X2 cards to work in an X4 GPU configuration (aka ) CrossfireX) may have popped up on the web here:

 The driver release states:

CrossFire X is supposed to work with these drivers. Only Vista is supported. Builddate is 07-12-20. Buildtag is 8.451-071220a

 

4 GPU results are still un-verified, as is compatibility with "other" Crossfire configurations, such as one 3870 X2 and one 3870 standard.
